He enjoys U/W Photography and finding interesting marine life and with over 6000 dives on Statia he knows where to look. For info on his newest U/W toy have a look at the DIVE GLIDE page.
Michele Faires
Owner operator and is the first person most guests come in contact with as she handles all correspondence and makes all the arrangements for their visit. As a long time resident of the island she can be very helpful when planning a trip or once on Statia with things to do and where to dine.
Bian Jimenez
Bian Jimenez also known as "Brownie" (its a long story…..ask Glenn) has been working at the shop since 2009 first in a school sponsored trainee and now that he has graduated he has completed his Dive Master training. Although he is relatively young he has lots of experience in boat handling and maintenance, and the years of surface support makes him a very attentive dive guide in the water. As you can see from his pictures he also enjoys a little fishing when the opportunity arises.
Duncan Faires (is a dog)
Born in Florida in 1999 - With swimming and retrieving experience. The only thing you have to watch out for with Duncan is his killer tongue! (He might lick you to death).
We call him the old man nowadays and while he does come to the shop now and then we have placed him on a semi-retired status.
