| Owned and operated by Glenn and Michele Faires since 1994, Golden Rock Dive Center prides itself on attentiveness to our customer's needs. Both Glenn and Michele have been in the tourism business for the term of their professional careers and have a good understanding of their customer’s needs, wants and desires. A big part of what we do here at Golden Rock Dive Center is not just diving...it's making sure our visitors enjoy the total experience of Statia. Glenn as an instructor, he listens and is understanding of the needs of his students. We have a very international feel at the shop with our multilingual staff and dive travelers from around the world. The real star at Golden Rock Dive Center is Duncan, Michele and Glenn's chocolate Labrador, who gets the most treat packages and hello e-mail.
 Glenn Faires
Born in South Texas in 1964 - With 20 years diving experience and 8 years on Statia’s reefs, if you are looking for something special Glenn can tell you if it’s here and where to find it. Over the past few years he has taken an interest in U/W Photography and speaks about it with great enthusiasm.
 Michele Faires
Born in Connecticut in 1968 - With 11 years diving experience. With her outgoing personality and willingness to please she is the one to talk to when you need help with something. Michele handles most of the communication with the visitors prior to their arrival also assisting in the planning and booking process.
 Reynaldo Redan
Born in Statia in 1960 - With 26 years diving experience. “Naldo” as we call him, adds that local feeling to the operation, as he is the islands only local dive master. When not diving he is often seen around the shop making repairs as a certified Diesel technician not to mention one hell of a good bush mechanic which is always a good thing on a small island.
 Lisbeth Hansen
Lisbeth is from Denmark and has 5 years diving experience in the Red Sea and the Caribbean.She speaks English, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish. Her hobbies are hiking, gardening, singing and volleyball.
 Winston Robins a.k.a.
Toots
Is a Statia born man who is working on his dive master certification. He is very quiet but has some interesting stories whenever you can get him to share them. He is always helpful, you need only ask. Touts brings the local flare to the operation.

Stefan Brom
Born in the Netherlands in 1973, He has 11 years
dive experience ranging from Australia to Greece.
Stefan is a PADI Instructor who speaks English,
Dutch and German. He has now settled down in Statia
to enjoy the great diving Caribbean lifestyle.

Berkel a.k.a. "Bobby"
Born in St Eustatius in 1944. He is best known as
“Bobby”. He is our preferred taxi driver who speaks
English and Dutch. His gentle and easy manner will
bring you right into the island life the moment you
step off the plane. He will be meeting you upon
your arrival. “Bobby” is very knowledgeable on
Statia’s history and we highly suggest his “don’t
miss” island tour.
 Duncan Faires (is a dog)
Born in Florida in 1999 - With swimming and retrieving experience. The only thing you have to watch out for with Duncan is his killer tongue! (He might lick you to death).
